About Rep Netball
The SCNA Representative Program
The SCNA Representative Program is a selective program that supports talented players from our domestic competition to pursue a netball development pathway. Running under the banner of Stonnington Storm, our program is highly regarded as a development program and we participate in Netball Victoria’s Pathway competitions and Talent ID Tournaments.
With a dedicated and experienced team of coaches, we field Representative teams in U11, U13, U15, U17 and Open. All teams train weekly on Sunday and 13U, 15U, 17U & Open teams participate in weekly competition at Waverley Night Netball Association and selected tournaments throughout the year (11U participate in weekly competition from Terms 3 & 4 but have a higher tournament rotation in Terms 1 & 2 as we focus on skill development).
Our program is an annual program, so players are selected for the year although some changes may occur if required. Player Reviews are conducted between seasons to celebrate strengths and highlight areas of development that will be worked on in the season ahead.
SCNA creates a safe environment in which netballers striving to improve and develop are surrounded by like minded players who are supported and encouraged by a talented and experienced group of coaches.
Representative netball is an important step on the journey for talented netballers to begin their netball pathway. It feeds players into the Netball Victoria Player Pathway. An outline of the Netball Victoria player pathway can be found here here
