Women’s Open 2, 3 & 4

We run a Women’s Open 2, 3 & 4 netball competition on Wednesday nights. Players must be 15 years of age or above to play in this section. Matches are 40 minutes.

Open 2 - is an intermediate level

Open 3 - is a proficient level

Open 4 - is social

• Games are played at Stonnington Sports Centre, East Malvern, on a Thursday evening. All matches are indoors and run for 45 minutes.

• Club and independent teams welcome.

• Please ensure you read our Bylaws to understand player fill-in requirements and other important bylaws.

• Games are not fixtured on long weekends, public holidays or during school holidays (as defined by the Victorian Department of Education).

• All players, coaches, officials and families are bound by the SCNA ByLaws and Codes of Conduct

• All team and player registrations are now run through the NetballConnect platform. A participant’s Netball Victoria membership - which covers insurance - will be paid during this process. You can learn more about NetballConnect here and about Netball Victoria membership here

• The first 3 or 4 rounds are grading rounds and there may be some changes to the fixture after this time.

• Registration for players Season 1, 2025 is Open and closes on Friday 14th February 2025.

  • If you are with a Club team, please contact your Club for registration details.

  • To register an independent team directly into the competition, please follow this guide from Netball Victoria

  • If you are a player with an independent team, please contact your Team Manager to receive the team registration link.

  • Fees:

    • Team Registration is $80+GST for the season.

    • Match fees are $79+GST per match. A season invoice, which includes the Team Registration fee, will be issued to the Team Manager or Club after grading rounds.

    • No match fees are charged for byes.

    • There are 2 final rounds.

  • Season 1 Dates: Commences Wednesday 5th March and ends 18th June 2025.
