9 & Under
For new beginners to the great team sport of Netball!
All teams participate in a fixtured competition with modified Netball Australia rules and lots of supportive help from the umpires :-). There are no Finals.
Players must be aged 7 - 9 years old at 31 December of each year to be eligible to compete in this age group. Ideally players have participated in a NetSetGo program or similar program.
Games are played early on Saturday mornings indoor at Stonnington Sports Centre, East Malvern.
Games are not fixtured on long weekends, public holidays or during school holidays (as defined by the Victorian Department of Education).
School, Club and independent teams are welcome.
All players, coaches, officials and families are bound by the SCNA ByLaws and Codes of Conduct
All team and player registrations are now run through the NetballConnect platform. A participant’s Netball Victoria membership - which covers insurance - will be paid during this process. You can learn more about NetballConnect here and about Netball Victoria membership here
The first 3 or 4 rounds are grading rounds and there may be some changes to the fixture after this time.
Registration for players Season 1, 2025 is Open and closes on Friday 24th January 2025.

Fees:
Team Registration is $80+GST for the season.
Match fees are $79+GST per match. A season invoice, which includes the Team Registration fee, will be issued to the Team Manager or Club after grading rounds.
No match fees are charged for byes.
There are usually 15 rounds in a Season but byes will not be known until fixtures are finalised after grading rounds. No finals.
Season 1 Dates: Commences Saturday 8th February and ends Saturday 21st June 2025
